When I saw the ad on Instagram, I was suspicious as with most ads seeming to promise a lot. ACT helped me prepare my filing for the grant. Applying for a grant was something I had never done before, and when I got it I had a great sense of finally being able to break out of low paying help desk jobs and move forward with my career. Kristin is a cheerleader par excellence, always encouraging me to keep moving forward. My A+ instructor engaged us in in-class exercises and discussion which really helped me see the concepts we reviewed in action. I worked with Camille, ACTs career coach, who helped me craft a 1st-rate LinkedIn profile and a resume that would pass muster with the AI-driven applicant tracking systems. There was someone available through every step of the whole process, and that is golden to me. Within minutes of talking to Kristin I knew if I had a shot at the grant before I applied. I had so many resources to help me prepare for the exam that I was very confident that I would pass. So, if exams give you the heebee jeebees, you will be feeling much more confident with ACT's assistance. Throughout my many years in IT I've always wanted the CompTIA certs, understanding their value, but I needed that personal interaction to help me learn. The courses are expensive, so I was always on the outside looking in. ACT made it happen for me. I got a Tier 3 tech job the same week I got my A+ certification
I spent a few weeks researching a way to get a computer certificate. I found Computer Access Training-and could not have been happier. Kristin the CEO is very direct, very helpful and a sea of helpful information. Her Program Director Eugene was able to either answer the questions that I had, or found an answer for me. The pace and timing of the program is a 9 week, fully remote, full access to an online learning platform called Cengage. Cengage is a very easy to use, easy to follow program that is not complicated. Some online/computer programs/platforms can be very complicated and not user friendly. I had a wonderful time learning, and I would recommend Access Computer Training to anyone who is very serious about getting computer certificates. I went for the A+ Certification. Call them.
